More About Sharifu R. Juma

The main duty that I deal with is collection of ecological and demographics data of

large carnivores in Massai Steppe.

Also, studies of tree climbing lions behavior at Tarangire-Manyara ecosystem.

I believe this opportunity will give me the necessary training to pursue a future

degree in wildlife specifically large carnivore, acquire new technique skill and also,

give opportunity to work to work closely with leading scientist in the field of

protecting biodiversity.

July 2022 – Present

Sharifu juma, He is a Sokoine University of Agriculture graduate 2021 and

ecosystem conservationist who pursued BSc. wildlife management. Currently, I am

working with Maasai Steppe Carnivore Conservation Trust as Research Assistant-

intern focused on Ecological, demographic and Human-carnivore conflicts

studies.
